Our Half Day Yoga and Paddle boarding retreat Cairns is suitable for all, including those that are completely new to Yoga and Paddle boarding. It offers a moment to relax and reset in nature and is a wonderful opportunity to meet like minded people.
Pick up is available. We can pick you up from anywhere in the Cairns area and take you home afterwards. We can also meet you at Smithfield shopping centre if you are bringing your own car, and we can drive up to the location together.
Itinerary For The Day
6.45am Pick up / Meet at Smithfield Shopping Centre
7.30 – 8.45am Hatha Flow Yoga and Meditation by the River with Beth Hartig
9am – 9.45am Breakfast by the river. We provide a healthy breakfast of Fresh Fruit Salads, Chia Pudding, Granola/Muesli, Bliss balls, and Veggie Juice.
9.45am – 12pm Introduction to Paddleboarding by Andy from Pacific Watersports. We will Paddle together down the Upper Barron River (No crocodiles- don’t worry!) Suitable for complete beginners. This guided tour will take us into the thick of the rainforest to reconnect with nature in a beautiful rainforest meditation on our paddle boards.
12pm – 1pm Lunch on the River Bank (BYO packed lunch). Here we can relax together, have a swim and some food.
1pm Head back to Cairns.
