Tropical Lifestyle
Beach Yoga in Palm Cove vs. Yoga in a Studio. What makes our Yoga classes at Hartig Yoga a little different from the rest? Most of our yoga classes take place on Palm Cove beach. Being in the tropics, we have an out doors lifestyle all year round, so here at Hartig Yoga, we adapted to the lifestyle and took our classes from the studio to the beach.
Forget stuffy studios and sweaty carpets. We practice under the shade of the palm trees, on the soft grass, in front of the ocean. Beach Yoga in Palm Cove is an experience not to be missed, whether you are here on holidays, or are lucky enough to be a local.
Where is Beach Yoga in Palm Cove held?
Our Beach Yoga in Palm Cove is held outside of the Alamanda Resort / NUNU restaurant. Walk 50m down from Nunu restaurant (a gorgeous and completely beachfront restaurant under the palms) and you we see your teacher (Beth Hartig or Nicki Bailey) setting up just to the right of the path. Bookings are required for all classes to avoid disappointment (however drop in may still be ok. It’s best to call ahead though and make sure there is a spot for you).
Which style of yoga will be taught at the beach yoga classes?
We have 3 different styles of yoga taught at our beach side location, Yang to Yin, Hatha Flow and Rise and Shine. Click here to read about the different styles and see which one might be best suited to you.
What happens if the weather is wet?
If the weather is wet, we have a gorgeous wet weather back up location within the Alamanda Resort, Palm Cove. We use the lobby lounge, which is a beautiful space just opposite their main reception area on Palm Cove. If you have booked into a class, your teacher will notify you of the change of location due to the weather. If you haven’t booked, but are looking for the class and can’t see anyone at the beach, chances are we will be in here.
