Yoga is traditionally practiced in the early morning, upon rising and before eating anything. But this routine often doesn’t suit our modern schedules, as most people have to go to work in the mornings, or get the kids ready for school. This can make it impossible to get a morning yoga practice in, even though you really want to.
Monday Evening Yoga Class in Palm Cove
Here at Hartig Yoga, we offer two morning classes a week, for those that are able to make it out before work (or can get up early on a sunday!) AND one evening class a week in Palm Cove ( Click here for our schedule).
Our evening class is all about letting go of the day. Most of the postures are floor based, with long holds, to really help to release tension in the body and mind and to re-balance our energetic system. After a busy and perhaps stressful day, a yoga class is so important to help ‘defrag’ the system.
I don’t know about you, but I really need some quiet time for myself after a long day at work where I can stretch out and let go of all my worries. I don’t want to take the tensions of the day into the evening with me.
And that is what our Palm Cove evening yoga class is all about. Letting go. Opening and relaxing the body. Getting rid of the build up of the day, and starting again. If we don’t monitor this build up of stress, worries and anxieties, bodily aches and pains and spend time processing and releasing them, over time we will be left feeling exhausted, out of balance and stiff in our bodies and our minds.
Come on down to a Monday evening yoga class in Palm Cove. Everybody is welcome, even complete beginners. Mats and props are provided. It is a truly magical experience, watching day turn to night whilst unwinding next to a beautiful lagoon swimming pool. Treat yourself!
The classes now take place in Palm Cove beachfront. On the grassy beachfront area outside of the Alamanda Resort on Mondays at 17:30-18:40.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I hope to see you on the mat soon,
Beth Hartig
