Let’s face it, we are truly blessed to be able to practice yoga in such a beautiful part of the world.  In this article we will share with you why Cairns Yoga Classes rule!

Warm Climate Year Round

In Cairns we are blessed with a tropical climate all year long.  This means that we can practice yoga outdoors  365 days of the year! Yes, we do get some wet weather too, but here at Hartig Yoga our wet weather back up spaces are still outdoor spaces- they are just sheltered from the rain.

There are many benefits to practicing yoga in a warm climate.  Firstly, we don’t have to warm up as much for class! Yoga is best practiced first thing in the morning, and in colder climates it can take a while to get warm enough to attempt some of the asanas (and to get warm enough to actually get out of bed!).  In Cairns we don’t have this problem.  You can roll out of bed and get to class OUTSIDE and move and groove without too much of a warm up.

Stunning Locations

Cairns is one of the most beautiful parts of Australia, with thousands of people flocking here to escape the cooler climates of the Southern states in the winter.  With the Great Barrier Reef, Rainforest and Beaches, it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular spot.

Here at Hartig Yoga we have 3 stunning locations in Palm Cove, Cairns. You can practice on the Alamanda Resort beachfront with us, on Sarayi Rooftop and Imagine Drift Poolside.  All unique. All stunning. All connected to nature and close to the ocean. Being able to practice yoga in stunning locations and not in the gym is one of the reasons Cairns Yoga Classes rule!

Slower Pace of Life

The slower pace of life in Far North Queensland is only complimented more with Cairns Yoga Classes.  Yes, everything takes a bit longer up here (which can be frustrating at times!) but can also be an invitation to slow down, relax and go with the flow.  Soak up the holiday vibes, whether you are a tourist or a local, with some Palm Cove yoga classes with Hartig Yoga.
